First time skiing in Bachelor Gulf

Shad and I ventured to our first and for Shad, long-awaited, ski trip! The last time we were supposed to go I went into early labor with Jack 3 days before we were to leave. So...Shad finally got to live out his dream on the slopes and he LOVED it. And he was quite the pro out there...he even hit a black slope with our friends...not with me of course! We went to ski school together (the other 2 couples were already great on the slopes). Here we are in our class!!!

The scenery from our condo was absolutely gorgeous. This was one of my favorites from our balcony at sunrise! Unbelievable!

One night we headed to Zack's cabin by sleigh ride up the mountain for a most delicious meal! I have to say that we were expecting horse-drawn carriage though. Instead, we got big, big tractor! It was fun though. All the guys had their first and Zack's famous Elk for dinner. Sound crazy, I know, but it was very tasty. I wasn't willing to order it, however. I went with the halibut just to be safe. But Shad did share!
