Hey gang, Shad here. I have commandeered Vern's blog for the St. Jude campaign.
First, if you have never visited my sweet wife's blog, you should take some time and read her posts. She doesn't write often, but when she does it's pure gold. I think it will be a blessing to you. She has a gift for writing that flows from a pure heart.
As far as the Shave Shad's Head campaign, Yesterday was awesome. I'm waiting for final numbers but at a minimum right now we are already at $2,000.00 towards my goal of $5K thanks in part to my good friend JB Selecman who agreed to make a matching donation of $1,000.00. JB may be a Vol fan, but he is a good man (That should stir the pot a little).
Here is what I would like to do with JB's matching gift, I want to use that in addition to the $5K if you will let me! That mean's if I can get up to $5K from you guys, we will have a total of $6K and I BELIEVE there are other matching donations out there that could help blow this thing wide open. SO, let's do this people.
